As part of the national commemoration led by the Ministry of Culture, this festival is a tribute to Bankim Chandra’s timeless creation that shaped India’s freedom movement. As India marks 150 years of this iconic national song, we invite participants across Bengal to honour its legacy and express their creativity on a shared cultural platform.

Participants from every district are invited to join this pan state celebration and express their creativity through art, music, and dance with full enthusiasm and vigour. This festival not only honours a timeless legacy but also encourages emerging talent from every corner of Bengal to shine. Exceptional performances will also stand a chance to win exciting prizes and district-level recognition.

General Instructions

Category-Wise Participation Guidelines
    Participants may register in any of the three categories:
  • Singing: Recommended genres include Vande Mataram, patriotic songs, Rabindra Sangeet, devotional songs, and Bengali folk.
  • Dance: Solo or group participation is allowed. Folk styles such as Raibansh, Chhau, and Gajan are encouraged.
  • Art: Participants may choose themes such as the spirit of Vande Mataram, India’s freedom movement, Bengal's natural beauty, or national symbols.

Category-Wise Time Limits and File Formats
  • For Singing, submit an MP3/MP4 video with a maximum duration of 2 minutes.
  • For Dance, submit an MP4 video with a maximum duration of 3 minutes.
  • Submissions in any other format will not be accepted. Additionally, submissions that exceed the time limit or do not follow the required format may be rejected during verification.
